Triangle Arts & Culture League is sponsoring, Plurality of Privacy Project in Five-Minute Plays (P3M5) is a groundbreaking transatlantic theater project focused on the value of privacy. In cooperation with
the Goethe-Institute Washington, fifteen theaters across the U.S. and Europe have
commissioned playwrights to write five-minute plays and short film adaptations
exploring the central question, “What does privacy mean to you in the digital age?”
These performances are presented to initiate an artistic and cultural dialogue
centered around varying American and European understandings of privacy.
Live performances of the plays will happen throughout the weekend in and
around festival venues. Kevin Place ‘14, the P3M5 Theatre Outreach Coordinator,
will introduce the project during the Canon Shorts Program #1 (page 12).
